How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Picker/Packer, you will replenish, pick and pack air filters, oil filters, wiper blades and other small automotive parts in fulfillment of customer orders shipping throughout North America. Orders are fulfilled using RF scanners and completed orders ship small parcel (UPS). In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Picking, packing and replenishment of small automotive products (air filters, wiper blades, oil filters) utilizing RF scanner technology.
- Moving pallets utilizing electric forklifts/manual pallet jacks.
- Manually constructing shipping cartons.
- Housekeeping - removing plastic, sweeping, emptying trash, and cardboard bailing. We like our work ‘home’ to be nice and tidy.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pick / pack experience in a line environment
- RF scanner experience
- Experience opening cartons, replenishing and picking product
- Must be quality minded and have a strong attention to detail
- Must have a strong sense of teamwork, a quick work pace and a friendly, outgoing demeanor capable of getting along well with co-workers and managers
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., while occasionally handling boxes that weigh 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, squat, reach and walk between 8 - 10 hours per shift
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
What Will Set You Apart
- Fork lift certification
- Prior computer skills are preferred, including: MS Office, Outlook, SAP, Proprietary shipping software programs, etc.
