The Growth Strategist facilitates growth across the Syneos Health advertising agencies by leading reactive pitches/proposals and supporting prospecting and marketing efforts. They collaborate with all agency disciplines to create content and drive project progress.
The Growth Strategist leads multi-disciplinary teams through the new business pitch process and is responsible for the big picture, the overarching business strategy and proposal story development. They create consistency and add value throughout the development of pitch proposals by helping to articulate the strategy in a way that’s true to the winning premise. They help create an environment where collaboration and iteration of the work is encouraged, facilitating connection points where teams can share and challenge perspectives, and serving as a decision maker to ensure the team aligns and moves forward. In the home stretch of the pitch, the growth strategist ties all of the pieces together by refining iteration into final product with a compelling story structure for the team to take and make their own on pitch day. For written proposals, the growth strategist takes on responsibility for turning the team’s ideas and strategies into persuasive client-facing prose.

The Growth Strategist also works closely with agency leaders and the prospecting engine to help identify and respond to prospective business opportunities. They develop and present capabilities presentations and thoughtful follow-ups to potential new clients while working hand-in-hand with the Director of Marketing to promote agency offerings, develop marketing strategies, and collaborate with core agency members to develop promotional content and thought leadership.
Conceptualize, contribute to, and create client-facing presentations and proposals, including RFP responses, business and brand strategy perspectives, positioning pieces, overarching story lines, and other articles of persuasive communication- Apply critical thinking and analysis to information and observations in support of decisions around creative execution, content development, and audience engagement
- Organize, analyze, interpret, and present information to key audiences, both internal and external, for evaluation and collaboration
- Collaborate with lead content/brand/CX/medical strategists and participate in information gathering as appropriate to advise on the distillation and development of the strategy
- Establish and foster relationships with individuals across departments and offices, with an eye towards anticipating team dynamics and enhancing process flow
- Oversee logistical details in preparation for proposal submission or pitch presentation, including compiling feedback, running rehearsal, developing deck and meeting assets, and coordinating follow up efforts
- Collaborate with agency business leads, prospecting team, and Director of Marketing to fuel growth of agency offerings through marketing/promotional initiatives, thought leadership, and prospecting efforts

- Strong writing skills, particularly persuasive communications and prose

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions MAY include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
