A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Review and prepare work order packages for internal SCE and external Contractor construction crews.
  • Directly manage and maintain project status reports to ensure timely and accurate updates are made. This includes monitoring scheduled start dates, completion dates, major milestones, ensuring payment of services to Contractors, and other pertinent project information.
  • Monitor annual purchase order values and submit requests to replenish funds, as necessary.
  • Extract, compare, and analyze data from various internal and external source systems to identify reporting inconsistencies and address data gaps.
  • Provide process improvement recommendations to the Regional Scheduling Supervisor (RSS) to ensure adherence to established timelines, compliance, and overall data accuracy.
  • Act as a key resource to the Regional Planning and Performance Manager (RPPM) to assist in the development of high-level presentations presented to executive management.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis within area of responsibility in support of on-going company operations or in response to changing business strategies.
Qualifications


The essentials

  • Three or more years of experience working in an analytical position.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, using Pivot Tables and Functions such as "IF Statements and VLOOKUP, etc.

The preferred

  • Experience with SCE specific programs, such as Design Manager (DM), Click Schedule, Supplier Portal, and SAP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.
  • Customer focused with ability to understand and appropriately respond to project managers and clients’ business needs.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Experience creating presentations using spreadsheets and PowerPoint tools to communicate data and analysis.
  • Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Experience working across disciplines and effectively engaging various levels of internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, while maintaining high productivity, as well as working in a team environment.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to the office a minimum of 2 days weekly, with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
