Our Opportunity!

As a Brand Designer, you will report to the Sr. Design Manager, PBNA Innovation, partnering on the design and execution of comprehensive programs for brands within North America Beverage portfolio. Successful candidates will demonstrate superior ability to generate innovative and inspirational design solutions, driving from ideation to execution with quality and strategic excellence.
In this innovation role, you will be given the opportunity to build upon existing capabilities as well as broaden your functional expertise as you drive our Beverage brands through all consumer touchpoints. Examples of projects may include development of brand identity, packaging, and portfolio systems, 360 brand campaigns, social media strategy, promotions, and immersive brand activations, with solutions that span the gamut from print, packaging, sustainability, social/digital, licensing, environmental, and new media. Projects may be executed in partnership with internal/external resources.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Brand Design Development: Support the visual identity for specific brands in the portfolio, working in partnership with the Design leader, collaborating with design peers, marketing partners and other cross-functional teams, cutting across brand, product, packaging, marketing, and advertising.
  • Generates creative design proposals (visions, scenarios, concepts) to visualize the desired output and share it with internal and external team members.
  • Participates in research activities and effectively translates customer needs into actionable design requirements.
  • Execute those requirements into innovative design solutions.
  • Responsible for driving to final design recommendations, decisions, and design approval to enable artwork execution / production phases.
  • Ensure thorough consideration of all project variables and that the final solution will perform as planned.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $67,800 - $113,550 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% paid out Annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications:
Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design required with 2-5 years of hands-on brand and packaging/graphic design experience.
  • Strong conceptual and innovative design skills, package design, and design strategy experience
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 360 brand design experience (i.e., print, packaging, digital, environmental, experiential)
  • Illustration skills a plus
  • Experience in innovation or evidence of innovative thinking/work
  • Experience working with motion-based and digital media
  • Extraordinary design taste and expertise with an excellent sense of innovative design trends
  • Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality (comfortable with risk and uncertainty)
  • Effectively communicates (verbally and written) with internal and external business partners
  • Collaborative and works well with others to deliver results; keep others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises
  • Ability to multitask. Excellent time and project management skills to be able to meet project deadlines
