Channel Islands Logistics is seeking creative, dynamic, and passionate Dispatcher to join our team! You will assist with dispatching 40 + company drivers and 40 + owner operators. We are covering mostly Southern California. Potential to book 3rdparty trucks for out of state business also! Sell Channel Islands Logistics services and ensure our customer’s freight gets delivered.
About the role:
- Dispatch company drivers and 3rdparty owner operators.
- Grow business with current carriers in alignment with account growth strategy plans and market demands, as well as identifying, prospecting, and generating new carriers through analysis and discovery.
- Handle freight pickup, transit, and drop off to ensure on time delivery.
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to provide short term and long term carrier solutions for prospective and current customers.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience dispatching multiple drivers per day for truckload transportation services
- Spanish Speaking a plus
- Self-motivated and customer service-oriented
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to type, text and email
- No enforceable encumbrances with prior employers
- Customer Service experience in an office setting is a plus
