This role will provide leadership and support in the everyday program management from strategy to implementation of the store labor optimization initiative. This leader will lead a team of senior project and associated strategy managers and work in a highly cross-functional work team spanning Store Operations, Analytics, Starbucks Technology, Retail Communication and Retail.


The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed. Pay Range: $118,100 - $208,700/annually


As a program manager, you will…

  • Be responsible for everyday store labor optimization initiative milestones and creating momentum for work, alignment and decisions to progress.
  • Be responsible for a team.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively in a complex, cross-functional team
  • Lead high-performing, cross-functional, often globally distributed teams to deliver a complex, multi-year, multifaceted program.
  • Develops and inspires cohesive teams committed to delivering the best for their project and overall program.
  • Ensures alignment of proposed programs and projects with the business unit, functional area and/ or company goals and strategies and communicates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Nimbly adapts to shifting priorities while continuing to assess the overall health of existing programs and priorities.
  • Drives decisions by influencing decision-makers, and balancing risk and uncertainty across multiple projects, programs, and functions.
  • Autonomously drives alignment across multiple senior leaders and influences cross-functional teams to support new ideas and decisions.

  • Mentoring other project managers in program and project management. – 6 years
